SA's success spurs local conference

Johannesburg, 22 Aug 2007

For the first time, Interactive Intelligence, a leading international business communications software developer, will be hosting a user forum in South Africa, tailored for its SA clients.

The conference, which will take place on 30 August 2007 at the Cradle of Humankind, is a tribute to SA's phenomenal performance against other countries in the EMEA region.

After the Benelux region, SA and Africa have the highest number of users of Interactive Intelligence's solutions, outperforming developed countries such as the UK, Germany, the Nordics and Italy.

According to Meredith Egg, Field Marketing Manager, Interactive Intelligence decided to do local conferences - rather than the usual annual EMEA conference - to enable more of the users to attend the conference and benefit from direct contact with product development.

"The local conference will give more of our customers the chance to give direct feedback on the features they need from our products to enable them to improve business efficiencies," she says.

Egg says senior executives, including Interactive Intelligence's Director of Product Management, will be there to answer questions customers may have on the products, and to take their suggestions back to the product development teams in the US. Customers will also be able to receive updates on product direction and future enhancements, as well as attend contact centre and enterprise-focused breakout sessions.

There will also be a function in the evening to enable networking, and to create a sense of community among Interactive Intelligence's users.

The 2007 South Africa and Africa User Forum is a free event for Interactive Intelligence customers.
