Sasuka Technologies, previously operating under the Netnovation banner, has received Quality Partnership accreditation from SAS for the third consecutive year.
Sasuka considers SAS a premier technology. "SAS offers an exclusive product range in the areas of business intelligence, data warehousing and data mining. Within these spheres, I believe it to one of the best technologies in the world," says Riedwaan Benefeld, director of Sasuka.
Sasuka Technologies has been operational for a year, focusing on data warehousing solutions, data analytics, fraud detection and prevention, as well as forensics. The company uses SAS technology to profile and identify possible fraudulent individuals. "Some of Sasuka's senior members have operated in the forensic field before joining us, now we use their knowledge coupled with the SAS technology to prevent fraud in large corporates," adds Benefeld.
Bill Hoggarth, MD of the SAS Institute, explains that in order to become a quality partner there are certain criteria to meet. "A SAS Quality Partner must have the ability to develop solutions around SAS, as well as implement and maintain those solutions. We are satisfied that Sasuka is fully capable of this."
Sasuka also has a training facility that assists students from previously disadvantaged backgrounds to acquire SAS accreditation, at no cost at all. Once these students have completed their training courses and successfully completed external SAS examinations, they are usually offered positions at Sasuka.
Sasuka students that have completed their initial training are offered the opportunity to specialise in the area of their choice.
