Microsoft Partners that have proven their proficiency in building advanced security solutions using Microsoft technologies to protect their customers' information assets can apply for special competency recognition, explains Thomas Malinowski, Microsoft SMB&P Partner Manager.

Before competency is awarded, partners are required to prove their capability in applying viable security solutions in terms of daily operations management; wireless and VPN management and application access security. Case studies on live implementations as well as customer references are thoroughly evaluated by Microsoft before recognition is considered.
