Satyam, K2 form alliance

India-based IT services vendor Satyam Computer Services has formed an alliance with US-based software company K2, to jointly provide end-to-end business process management (BPM) on Microsoft platforms, says iStock Analyst.

Satyam will develop a centre of excellence in Chennai, India, to provide support, delivery, and governance of K2-based applications. The centre will develop frameworks and methodologies using K2's SmartObject technology.

K2, a division of SourceCode Technology Holdings, delivers workflow and BPM applications based on its K2 blackpearl and K2 blackpoint software.

Brainware, a provider of intelligent data capture and enterprise search solutions, has formed a professional services partnership with Database Republic, a California-based BPM consultancy and workflow vendor, according to PR Newswire.

The new partner will assist Brainware customers with product installation, workflow solutions management, maintenance, and upgrades.
