Satyam, K2 form alliance

India-based IT services vendor Satyam Computer Services has formed an alliance with US-based software company K2, to jointly provide end-to-end business process management (BPM) on Microsoft platforms, says iStock Analyst.

Satyam will develop a centre of excellence in Chennai, India, to provide support, delivery, and of K2-based applications. The centre will develop frameworks and methodologies using K2's SmartObject technology.

K2, a division of SourceCode Technology Holdings, delivers workflow and BPM applications based on its K2 blackpearl and K2 blackpoint software.

Brainware secures BPM

Brainware, a provider of intelligent capture and enterprise search solutions, has formed a professional services partnership with Database Republic, a California-based BPM consultancy and workflow vendor, according to PR Newswire.

The new partner will assist Brainware customers with product installation, workflow solutions management, maintenance, and upgrades.

"The challenging worldwide economic environment has created additional demand for Brainware solutions that help organisations rapidly improve cost control and efficiency," says Dale Bargar, VP of operations at Brainware.

ModusLink boosts recall management

ModusLink Global Solutions, a supply chain BPM company, has added ModusLink Recall to its e-Business Suite of Solutions, reports Centre Daily.

With this new crisis management solution, clients can mitigate the repercussions of a product recall by launching a multilingual recall management Web site.

ModusLink Recall enables clients to quickly disseminate vital recall information, including clear and concise guidelines for customers to easily manoeuvre through the recall process in order to reduce customer concerns and contact centre inquiries.
