SBi appointed as distributor for Trapeze

Johannesburg, 23 Apr 2007

Solutions for Business Intelligence (SBi), a subsidiary of ERP.com, today announced that it had been appointed as the Sub-Saharan distributor for New Zealand-based Onstream Systems and its Trapeze product family.

Trapeze has been specifically developed to enable:

* The integration of maps and plans into a council's planning consent process thus eliminating the need to wait for the paper trailing along after the electronic workflow item.
* The easy processing of large paper documents as if the paper is in the hands of the user, through the exploitation of the functionality of Trapeze.
* Increased productivity, thus making it easier to meet deadlines and performance targets.
* The facility for planning officers to carry out all their functions without having full-sized printouts that would often require the availability of a full-sized printer.
* The full computerisation of the consent process workflow.

"Trapeze complements many of our other product distributorships and in particular that of Tower Software, where Onstream Systems is one of their key integration partners," commented Tony Nutter, Managing Director of SBi.

"We identified a need for the unique capabilities offered by the Trapeze suite and consequently negotiated a strategic partnership with them."

Onstream Systems is an imaging software company that specialises in helping organisations easily work with scanned documents in the familiar way they work with their paper filing system on their desktop or over the Web. Its Trapeze suite of imaging systems can be utilised with, or separate to, existing document management systems. It offers the ability to work within different file types, large sizes, maps and drawings. It is possible to retrieve, browse, view, annotate, manipulate, measure and redact and then print to original size or to scale.

Onstream Systems has over one million users and a customer base that includes names such as AXA Insurance, AON Insurance, Marks & Spencer and Her Majesty's Land Registry in the UK, Bank of New Zealand, City of Laguna Beach and Swift Energy in the USA, and NSW State Water in Australia.
