Solutions for Business Intelligence (SBi), a subsidiary of ERP.com, today announced the creation of SBi Asia Pacific (SBi AP), based in Sydney, a company that is intended to be a mirror image of the South African operation. SBi AP is part of the i2b Pty Ltd group that offers IT services and insurance as well as electronic document management systems.
In 2004, i2b was given the distribution rights in Australia for SB Image and subsequently registered the trading name of SBi Asia Pacific and is headed-up by an ex-South African, Rick Myburg.
"This new initiative is exciting for us as it underpins the local success we have had with our South African-developed SB Image product," commented Tony Nutter, MD of SBi. "With the new legislation that continues to be promulgated within the 'conformance/governance' space and also within the financial services sector in particular, we are extremely bullish about the numerous opportunities that are now materialising for us in both Australia and South Africa."
I2b and SBi AP's customer base includes organisations such as Explorer Capital, Hollard Insurance, MECON Insurance, Nautilus Insurance, Sydney Adventist Hospital, UPS and XL Express.
