Schoolwires looks to Dell

business applications' integrated CRM solution to seamlessly connect salesforce.com's sales cloud to current on-premise applications, Yahoo Finance reports.

Schoolwires needed a cloud-based CRM solution to help improve efficiencies across the sales organisation and integrate salesforce.com's Sales Cloud with Microsoft Dynamics, which is being used by its support organisation. Schoolwires evaluated various CRM and integration offerings and determined that the Dell integrated CRM solution offered a scalable and cost-effective solution. Schoolwires chose Dell for its comprehensive, end-to-end Dell services and Dell Boomi integration.

"We are one of the fastest growing private companies serving the K-12 community, supporting more than 1 300 customers. Dell's integrated CRM solutions with salesforce.com's Sales Cloud and Dell Boomi will allow us to seamlessly integrate our sales and Professional Services Organisations to better serve the needs of our growing customer base," SYS-CON Media quotes Doug Eicher, VP of sales at Schoolwires, as saying.

"The integration also will give our account team members access to real-time data that will help them identify additional school districts that would benefit from our solutions. Being able to rely on Dell to deliver and support the entire solution, from implementation to ongoing maintenance, is a tremendous advantage."

"We are thrilled to help Schoolwires continue to grow their business and better support the critical needs of our K-12 education community," said Paulette Altmaier, VP and GM of Global Small and Medium Business Solutions at Dell. "Their selection of our integrated CRM offer with turnkey end-to-end services validates the growing market need for total cloud solutions."
