Since the start of 2003, Safmarine Computer Services (SCS), a Premier IBM Business Partner, and independent IT solution provider within the Safmarine Group, has received three top awards for exceptional performance.
At a recent IBM Business Partner software event held in Camps Bay, SCS received the IBM Business Partner Top Contributor Initiative 2002 award, for Outstanding Achievement in small and medium businesses software sales, and for the commitment shown to IBM products during 2002.
"This award not only reaffirms SCS's commitment to IBM solutions but acts as a key motivator for SCS to gain trust and credibility from its small and medium-sized customers in providing cost-effective, reliable and profitable product and service offerings," says IBM Regional Manager: Coastal Region, Tony Abrahall.
At the 2002 annual IBM Top Sales Performer Award ceremony held in Johannesburg in January this year, SCS Managing Director Paul Vaughan received, on behalf of his team, an award in the category on Best Software Group Business Partner: Coastal Region.
At the end of January this year, a prestigious IBM Lotus Beacon Award, in the category of "Best Learning Solution" was awarded to SCS at the ninth annual Lotusphere Beacon Awards ceremony held in Orlando, Florida.
