SCT offers managed hosting in a virtual environment for its SAP Business All-in-One solutions. This gives more choice to the market. Previously less affordable solutions now become more affordable.
The way that managed hosting works is that you pay based on subscription hosting, per user, per month over a fixed term for a short duration, fixed price, fixed scope SAP implementation. Customer SAP systems will be hosted and managed by SCT Services.
"With pre-configured, pre-tested packages that SCT has to offer, an implementation of six to eight weeks is now possible with our hosting offering," says Genevieve Strydom, Business Development.
This option is suited to businesses that prefer hosted, remote managed Business All-in-One solutions. They now have the option to revise and adapt their ERP purchase decision into a two to four-year timeframe. In addition, businesses can scale their system requirements to suit growth and change over their life cycles, by adding and subtracting hosted subscription based SAP and IT infrastructure related services to suit prevailing requirements.
"There is no need for third-party financing and the rental option has good cash flow advantages for the customer," says Chantell de Beer, Financial Manager.
