Collaborative Xchange will host the third in the series of South African Supply Chain Visibility (SA SCV) Forums on 19 July at the Pharmaceutical Society of South Africa, in Melrose. The forum will focus on Supply Chain Visibility within the Healthcare Industry.
The SA SCV Forum is the first of its kind in SA, and offers companies the means of gaining a competitive-edge and achieving true visibility across the entire supply chain, whether suppliers and customers are local or international. The focus of the forum will be on enabling companies to realise the true business benefits of increased sales and reduced operating costs by optimising the supply chain process through the implementation of breakthrough technologies.
The SCV Healthcare Forum will feature a presentation by Shaun Matisonn, Principal Officer -- Risk Management at Discovery Health. Matisonn will discuss the interrelationship between manufacturers, suppliers and customers in the healthcare industry and the trend towards collaboration.
The SCV Healthcare Forum will also feature a presentation by Mohammed Bodhania, Chairman of the National Association for Pharmaceutical Manufacturers (NAPM) and Director of Cosi Ventures. Bodhania`s presentation will focus on "Supply chain visibility in action: Connecting supplier partners to optimise demand planning and sales in healthcare".
A final presentation will be made by Rod Stout, Collaborative Xchange Director of Strategy and Business Optimisation. Stout will address the themes of `C-Commerce` (collaborative commerce), and the importance of supply chain visibility in lowering costs in the healthcare industry.
