The focused IT company in the Siltek IT Supply Chain Group, Siltek Distribution Dynamics (SDD) signed an agreement earlier this year to distribute Apple's full range of software and hardware products.
Apple announced that the appointment of SDD, a broad-based distributor, is one of the key factors for the company experiencing an estimated 40 percent in unit growth sales over the last six months.
"Apple's sales have increased worldwide. Locally, the increase in unit growth can be attributed to a significant increase in customer confidence and a strengthened distribution channel," says Bruno Verolini, Apple's country manger.
"Our global distribution policy dictates a multi-distribution strategy. In other words, we were seeking to appoint a broad based distributor, in addition to our niche distributor, which would enable us to increase our local market share. SDD's vision, in turn, was to sign up products that contribute to the company's incremental growth in the channel. The result was a winning partnership," he says.
