SDD appoints dealer account manager

In a move targeted at securing a lion`s share of the estimated 500 000 unit local monitor market, Siltek Distribution Dynamics` (SDD) monitor`s division has appointed a new Philips dealer account manager.Bruce Byrne, who has upwards of ten years experience in the IT industry, says he sees the majority of new sales coming from products with 15, 17 and 19-inch screens, essentially replacing 14-inch monitors.Byrne believes the implementation of the company`s new dealer incentive programme will be the driving force in assisting the company to reach its sales goal. The new scheme will see participants receiving a rebate tied in directly to the number of units bought from SDD.
