SDD awarded best distributor of the year from Microsoft

Siltek Distribution Dynamics (SDD) the focused IT company in the Siltek IT Supply Chain Group has been named the Microsoft distributor of the year. SDD was presented with the award at the annual channel partner conference in Ireland.

Colin Flatau, managing director of SDD says, "We have had a long standing relationship with Microsoft and we hope this achievement is repeated in forthcoming years. Additionally, what is encouraging about the award is the positive reflection this has on the team, and that their hard work is recognised."

This is the first year that Microsoft has awarded its distributors for ongoing excellence. SDD won the award for South Africa by topping the post with the criteria outlined by Microsoft. The award was based on the following requirements; greatest percentage revenue increase, overall revenue, total dealer breadth, number of Open License dealers and marketing programmes.

"This is a very prestigious award that will assure customers that we are number one in the Microsoft arena. It is also a superb compliment to the software team and their efforts,' says Rudi van Vuuren business manager for software at SDD. "This award not only acknowledges our highly effective sales team and the relationships that they have with their customers but also the importance of a highly skilled back office team that ensure the right product mix and inventory," he adds.
