SDS changes name
SDS has changed its name to HealthPort, reflecting the company's rapid growth in healthcare technology, according to Business Wire.
For the past 30 years, SDS has provided technology and services for health information management and medical records in the acute care hospital and ambulatory care markets.
Following their merger with Companion Technologies in June 2007, the combined company now also offers solutions for revenue cycle management, electronic medical records, and practice management for physicians and community health centres
CSC acquires First
Computer Sciences Corporation has acquired First Consulting Group for $13 per share, or approximately $365 million, in an all-cash transaction, states FOX News.

CBay, M*Modal partner
CBaySystems and Services, a provider of transcription and BPO services, and M*Modal, providers of an advanced speech understanding service, have formed a strategic partnership, says FOX News.
