Accellion, the pioneer in providing mobile file sharing and collaboration solutions to enterprise organisations that enable increased business productivity while ensuring security and compliance, earlier this year announced the launch of its new product, kiteworks, a mobile-first solution with a sophisticated new user-experience and three-tier architecture designed to enable people to work securely wherever they are.
Its new mobile design offers integrated productivity tools and universal access to enterprise content stores, making it possible for organisations to realise the productivity gains from a mobile workforce without introducing data security risks.

With kiteworks, users can quickly share content securely with internal and external recipients. Users can take advantage of a real-time activity stream to quickly monitor and track file and folder activities for increased productivity and to enable real-time collaboration both inside and outside the office.
The kiteworks solution improves a number of established sharing and collaboration functions, including:
* Online collaboration - Facilitates project and team collaboration between internal and external users, inside and outside the office via secure folders. Useful for distributed team collaboration, client projects and for virtual data rooms and deal rooms.
* Mobile file sharing - Enables users to securely send files and folders to internal and external recipients from any type of device, including smartphones, tablets, laptops and desktops, without a VPN. Provides comprehensive user and file management controls to minimise IT support and enable data security and compliance
* Enterprise File Sync - Enables business professionals to access the latest content, from any device, and work from wherever.
* FTP Replacement - Enables organisations to replace legacy FTP software and services with private cloud file sharing capabilities.
Over the past few months Accellion has released some new features and won various awards.
The new features include the ability to share a file in a View Only mode with document watermarking and full-content search. Recipients of the file cannot download, forward, or copy and paste any part of the file. In addition, kiteworks now also includes the ability to withdraw files, an extremely useful feature when a sender makes a mistake, either by sending a file to the wrong recipient or sending the wrong file.
Accellion also provides content connectors, because enterprises need a secure way for employees to access and collaborate on content whether it is stored in public cloud solutions or behind the corporate firewall in enterprise content management systems. The company just launched new kiteworks cloud connectors, which extend access to enterprise content stored in GoogleDrive and Microsoft OneDrive, all from within kiteworks' secure mobile container, so IT has full control and visibility into data activity.
