SecureData Africa, wholly owned subsidiary of JSE-listed SecureData Holdings, today announced it has hired Erica Schemel as its new Head of Channel.
"We are extremely proud to have Erica join the SecureData family. Having worked in the channel for a number of years, and now more recently for a very large security vendor, she brings incredible amounts of experience and knowledge on what it takes to build a highly successful partner base," says Wayne Olsen, Chief Technology Officer at SecureData.
"Over the past year, the new management at SecureData has been working extremely hard in changing SecureData's approach from being purely end-user focused to that of a true channel enabler. In our new financial year, we launched the SecureData Partner Alliance Program, which has been extremely successful, and the type of engagement and increase in spend with us from our partners has been testament to the success of this programme," he adds. "Erica will now be responsible for continuing the success of the programme and expanding on it along with the other four partner account managers who will report directly to her."
