Juniper Networks named SecureData Security as its Best Newcomer Distributor of the Year at an awards evening held in Sandton on October 24.
SecureData Security announced in August that it had concluded a distribution agreement with Juniper Networks in South Africa and sub-Saharan Africa. The company distributes Juniper Networks' entire portfolio of networking and security solutions to authorised J-Partners.
"SecureData demonstrated outstanding commitment to the Juniper Networks brand, for which we thank them," says Andy Travers, Director of Channels for UK, Ireland and Southern Africa.
According to Brett Parker, managing director of SecureData Security: "The two months since we formalised our relationship with Juniper have been very exciting. Our business partners are already benefiting from our increasingly close relationship with Juniper Networks and our investments into marketing Juniper products in South Africa.
"A number of our people have completed certification across the spectrum of Juniper qualifications to ensure that there are skilled resources on offer to both customers and partners.
"In addition, we will also offer Juniper training through our Juniper authorised training centre in the near future. We look forward to helping to grow Juniper's presence in the local channel and end-user market in the years to come."
