SecureData, a member of the JSE-listed ERP.com Group, today announced that it had signed a reseller's agreement with Network Privacy. The agreement covers co-development and distribution of NPI's CryptonWare security software system.
"We always strive to bring our customers the best of breed products and we have been looking for a good encryption system that can complement our other security product ranges in order that we could deliver a complete solution to the end-user," commented Paul Meintjes, Channel Manager for SecureData.
"CryptonWare removes all the overhead of managing keys and certificates, which is the biggest downfall of other similar systems. It allows the user to work the same way he has always done. CryptonWare is the only system we found that supports a multitude of communication methods. Network Privacy staff delivered from day one of our product testing and we were given the highest quality service I've experienced over many years in the IT field," concluded Meintjes.
"Corporate SA's enterprise, government and consumer business applications is important to Network Privacy, as we realise our maximum potential as a world leader in communications security," added Robert Friedman, the CEO and President of NPI.
"SecureData has currently more than 6 000 clients many of whom have networks larger than 100 stations, including the major South African banks, various local governments, government departments all over Sub-Saharan Africa, multinational industrial and mining houses, cellular network providers, various motor corporations and various Southern African flight operators, and this is very important to us.
"Working together with SecureData we will be able to enable enterprises to implement innovative Internet solutions while being protected from the growing privacy risks related to network and Internet communications. Network Privacy's powerful, user-friendly security for mission-critical transmissions over public and private networks will greatly enhance the functionality and comfort of Internet users everywhere."
