According to InfoWorld, the Trend Micro solution was flawless on virus detection, was easily administered and had the second lowest cost of ownership. InfoWorld considered accuracy of virus detection, ease of implementation, ease of administration, quality of support and low cost of ownership in comparing products from competing vendors.
In addition, Trend Micro was given the highest grading as a virus scanning and code monitoring package by Forrestor Research. The anti-virus software has been graded as twice as expedient as its nearest competitor.
The package includes web-based management, which enables the client to update from the Internet and access the latest information.
