IP Expo comes to SA on 15 and 16 November, and will be hosted at the Sandton Convention Centre, after running successfully in the UK for six years. Security has been incorporated into the agenda due to the growing demand from UK participants.
“Delegates at last year's IP Expo told us security was intrinsically linked to decisions they would be making about their IT infrastructures,” explains Giles Mallon, commercial director at Imago Techmedia, the event organiser.
The conference will also feature a security debate, where industry leaders will share their knowledge in a panel discussion.
According to Gartner's CIO Agenda survey, improving business continuity, risk and security is one of the top 10 business strategies for CIOs this year. However, security is only one part of a broader conversation about how infrastructure can support an agile business.
