Bytes Business Solutions has announced the local availability of SeeBeyond e-Business Integration Suite version 4.5.
It provides a unified e-business infrastructure for organisations and B2B exchanges by enabling application integration and B2B connectivity, and providing business process management (BPM) and optimisation capabilities.
Companies wanting to take advantage of the new economy are finding they need to increase business agility, optimise business operations, and improve service levels, responsiveness and customer satisfaction within and across their extended enterprises.
"Market demands require open, enterprise-wide digital nervous systems that deliver business process management capabilities so organisations can realise the full potential of their core business operations," says Hugh Lawrenson, SeeBeyond sales manager: Africa and Middle East.
SeeBeyond eBI Suite v4.5 includes a new partner enablement product, eXpressway Integrator, and a BPM offering - eInsight Business Process Manager - reflecting the increased business visibility that process-driven integration provides companies across their extended enterprise.
"SeeBeyond`s e-business integration ensures near real-time processing, guaranteed data delivery, and processing reliability," says Christian Bowker, Bytes Business Solutions sales director. Key enhancements to SeeBeyond`s core platform and solutions include support for Java enterprise standards. eGate Integrator 4.5 supports J2EE components including Java Messaging Service (JMS) and Enterprise Java Beans (EJB). With JMS support, SeeBeyond provides an open messaging platform for industry-standard and third party messaging products, such as IBM MQSeries and Microsoft MSMQ. Platform support is provided for native OS/390, Linux, Sun Solaris, IBM AIX, HP-UX, Compaq Tru-64, and Windows 2000.
Pre packaged support for Microsoft`s SOAP (simple object access protocol) allows organisations to define a new inter-enterprise collaboration paradigm that includes end-to-end supply chain visibility and management.
