SensePost has made three key promotions - Shane Kemp, Daniel Cuthbert and Dominic White will be promoted to global sales manager, COO and CTO, respectfully. The trio joined SensePost's senior leadership structures, effective 1 October.

"We have a vision to build a dynamic global business that will impact its clients and the community in general in a lasting and meaningful way," says Charl van der Walt, SensePost co-founder and MD. For Van der Walt, that vision involves attracting the best people in the industry and giving them the opportunity to develop and make a mark on the industry.

The three new executives have prestigious histories with SensePost and within the broader industry; collectively, they have over 15 years' experience in the industry.

Cuthbert is a graduate of Information and has more than 13 years' experience within the security industry. Of the seven years that Kemp has been with SensePost, four have been in a sales management role. White is the youngest of the three and was previously a manager of Deloitte's Security and Privacy group before joining SensePost to launch its consulting services division.

From October, Daniel Cuthbert will take over as SensePost's new COO.

"These appointments will not only stretch and challenge these three men and their teams; it will also optimally position SensePost to leverage off its current position of strength to redefine itself, innovate and grow," says Van der Walt.

"We were looking for a new generation of leaders who not only had the required skills and experience, but who also represented our company's core values of honesty and integrity, combined with technical excellence and passion for information security. We believe that in this team, we have that," said Van der Walt.

He adds that he expects these three will bring their own unique style to the way SensePost is run.

"We're confident that the technical, business and ethical values that have characterised us as a company over the last 13 years will remain intact."
