SYSPRO, the world's largest private ERP software company, has recently been nominated for three prestigious awards.
The first nomination is for Computer Software Company of the Year in the International Best Business category in the Stevie Awards - the world's premier business awards competition, which recognise excellence in all facets of the modern-day workplace.
SYSPRO has also been designated as a distinguished honouree by the Stevie Awards, a distinction that qualifies the company as a contender for the People's Choice Award in that same category. This is the second time SYSPRO has received such a nomination.
The third nomination is as one of five finalists for the Independent Software Vendor (ISV) Software Partner of the Year Award, in the Microsoft Partner Network 2011 Awards. These awards, which boast several categories, are restricted to Gold and Silver level Competency Microsoft Partners.
In this particular category, emphasis is placed on software competency. SYSPRO's nomination is evidence of its recognition in the delivery of innovative software solutions on the Microsoft platform.
The Stevie Awards
The Stevie Awards were created to honour and generate public recognition of the achievements and positive contributions of organisations and working people worldwide. Beginning with The American Business Awards in 2002, The International Business Awards in 2003, The Stevie Awards for Women in Business in 2004, and the Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service in 2006, the organisation's mission is to raise the profile of exemplary organisations and individuals among the press, the business community, and the general public. The Stevie has become one of the world's most coveted awards. The International Business Awards are overseen by a board of distinguished judges and advisors, and features prominent and accomplished professionals from around the world.
The Microsoft Partner Network 2011 Awards
These awards recognise partners in South Africa that have excelled in delivering Microsoft solutions over Microsoft's 2011 fiscal year. The winners will be announced at the Microsoft Partner Summit Gala Dinner, on 18 October 2011, at the ICC, in Durban. The judging teams comprise Microsoft employees who are relevant specialists in each category, and in some cases, independent external advisors. Each nomination is judged on six essential criteria, namely: winning new customers, driving customer satisfaction, growing the business, innovation, enabling people, and bonus factors. A maximum of the top five partners qualify to be short-listed for the interview-judging phase.
