Hewlett-Packard`s new Pentium-3 and Celeron-based OmniBook XE3 is now available from Tarsus Technologies. Margie Adam, HP PC product manager at Tarsus, says the XE3 is sure to fly off the shelves as it packs a big punch for an entry-level machine. "The OmniBook is the ideal machine for the developing company, with price and performance figures that will cause any other vendor to turn green," declares Adam.

Vital statistics for the sexy XE3 include Celeron processors from 550 to 650Mhz and Pentium-3`s from 650 to 700Mhz featuring Intel`s SpeedStep battery conserving technology.

Also included in the elegant case is up to 256MB of RAM, a choice of 5 or 10 GB hard drive, 16-bit audio, S3 AGP graphics and a choice of a 24X CD-ROM or 8X DVD.

"The XE3 is aimed primarily at the price sensitive small to medium enterprise market and delivers a value all-in-one PC that is short on price but long on features," continues Adam.

Connectivity is assured with two USB ports, a 4MBPS infrared port, serial and parallel port and two Type II or one Type III PC card slots. The full size keyboard makes for comfortable typing, while HP`s TopTools, bundled with the machine, make management and a doddle.

"With the qualities that every executive looks for in a sleek business tool, the most startling feature of the OmniBook XE3 is sure to be its price - expect this notebook to for around RXXX. 00," concludes Adam
