Interfile has been appointed by the South African Revenue Service (SARS), to provide a secure, encrypted electronic link to SARS for filing of tax returns.
The Shandon team has been involved in the complete design, development and implementation of the systems required by Interfile. The eFiling site facilitates payments for the tax returns submitted. The system has been developed with integration to banks through standard banking APIs, and links to online banking facilities, such as BANKit. The interfaces have been designed for flexibility as generic database-driven modules.
