Local Maconomy distributor PSA Solutions has announced it is implementing its Audit and Tax consulting solution at BDO Spencer Steward Cape Town, through its Cape Town reseller BS3. Maconomy will enable BDO Spencer Steward to standardise its business processes, provide a better service to its clients and improve profitability.
Due to rapid growth over the past years, BDO Spencer Steward had outgrown its existing information systems, and decided to invest in a newer technology such as Maconomy.

"Although there are international products available in the marketplace that would offer us similar functionality to Maconomy, the local-based products simply cannot compete. Similarly, we could not find the desired level of support from an internationally-based software vendor. Maconomy has shown a strong local support presence through its partner network, like BS3 in Cape Town," he adds.
Since Maconomy Audit and Tax consulting solution is specifically built for the audit vertical market, it is preconfigured according to industry 'best practice' and many years of R&D in this field. This allows BDO Spencer Steward to further enhance its operations and add value to its business processes by utilising the tools and features already available in Maconomy. Unlike many generic ERP solutions that require a high level of customisation, Maconomy's vertical solution requires very little customisation -- thereby minimising the cost and risk involved in implementing the package.
