Listed business solutions group, Simeka Consulting, today announced the successful signing of a distribution partnership with Australian enhanced corporate performance management (CPM) specialist, Beacon IT Group.
The partnership is an important milestone in the global strategy for Beacon IT Group's Bids (Business Information Development Software) CPM technology.
"Bids is already enhancing the existing MPC budgeting system for Vodacom South Africa - part of the Vodafone Group," said Mike Silber, Beacon IT Group's Country Manager for South Africa.
"Vodacom chose Bids because it addresses its capital expenditure budgeting requirements and provides the mechanism for business managers to submit their requests for major project capital expenditure. Vodacom is now extending Bids to other parts of the budgeting process.

Bids integrates with existing software applications, financial systems and CPM systems. Alternatively, it can be customised with a new CPM system as an integrated solution.
