Simeka director resigns

A non-executive director has resigned from listed Simeka Business Group's board.

In a Stock Exchange News announcement, the company says Tozamile Botha has resigned with immediate effect. The company gives no reasons, but says: “Simeka's board and management wish to thank Botha for his valuable contribution over the years.”

According to the company's Web site, Botha was the company's deputy chairman and was appointed to the board in 2005. He has an MPhil in political science and a diploma in development administration and financial management.

Botha has over 14 years' experience in the government and private sectors. He is a co-founder and non-executive chairman of Motoma ICT Group and MICT.

Simeka is a black-empowered outsourcing, business support services and technology group, which has been listed on AltX since 2004. Its geographic presence spans across SA, Africa, the Middle East and the UK.
