Simeka postpones name change

Simeka BSG will be unable to change its name to Simeka Business Solutions Group by 14 December, as originally expected.

Yesterday afternoon, the company told shareholders that its plans had been affected by a back-log at the Companies and Intellectual Property Office.

This had resulted in a delay of the registration of the special resolutions passed at its mid-November annual general meeting, it said.

Simeka BSG will announce a revised timeline as soon as the special resolutions have been registered, the company said.
