The introduction of two new high-performance micro-portable Panasonic projectors to the South African market in the second quarter of this year has heralded a new era in presentation technology. Sophisticated in design, the new Panasonic PT-LC76 and Panasonic PT-LC56 projectors bring simplicity, style and enhanced functionality to the sector.
The new models offer several distinct features, namely:
* Stylish, slim and compact design. The units measure just 210mm x 297mm by 65mm and weigh only 2.2kg.
* Simple to use. Presenters need press just three controls buttons on the top control panel power, select input and setup - and the PT-LC76/PT-LC56 does the rest. An advanced signal detector automatically adjusts the projector set-up according to the input signal received, while one-touch auto setup with digital keystone correction adjusts the projected image horizontally and vertically.
* Secure anti-theft measures built-in. Both models are protected by features such as a user password, without which the units cannot be operated beyond turning on the main power source, and control panel lock, where the controls on the top and rear panels of the projector can be disabled. There^1s also the option of superimposing a 22-character text line on the bottom of the projected image whenever the projector is used.
Powerful performance
Both new models are equipped with a large-diameter, extra-short-throw lens which allows presentations to be made in smaller rooms. The two newcomers also deliver super-bright 1600 ANSI lumens uniformly over 90% of the image. The result is sharp, crisp images that are easy to see and comfortable on the eye.
"The lightweight, space-saving design of these new models belies their heavyweight functionality," says Freddie Potgieter, director: Panasonic Office Automation, IT and Telecommunications Systems. "Both are packed with high performance features, making them an ideal choice for on-the-go executives."
