SecureData Security, part of JSE-listed SecureData Holdings and a sub-Saharan distributor for Passlogix, today announced that the latter's v-GO Single Sign-On (v-GO SSO), its market-leading enterprise single sign-on solution, now supports Microsoft Windows 7.
v-GO SSO is compatible with both the 32- and 64-bit versions of Microsoft's newest operating system.
Passlogix's rapid support of Windows 7 will allow organisations using v-GO SSO for password management to migrate to the new OS as soon as necessary to take advantage of new Windows features that expedite everyday tasks and increase computing performance. It will also enable those enterprises as well as new customers using Windows 7 to eliminate the need for end-users to create, remember, input and manage multiple application passwords.

The solution scales to tens of thousands of users, enables wizard-based integration that eliminates the need to write scripts or connectors even to home-grown or legacy applications, and installs on existing servers without adding dedicated or proprietary hardware. In addition to Windows 7, v-GO SSO is also compatible with Windows XP Professional (SP2), Windows Server 2003, and Windows Vista Business Edition.
