SkyGroup Communications has rebuilt its Lifesize video and Web conferencing app, to improve collaboration in the cloud.
Marius van Wyk, operations and technical director at SkyGroup Communications, says the app was redesigned to take into account feedback from customers.
Introduced features aim to make the app more intuitive and easier to navigate, and include easy navigation, flexible meetings, and easy on-boarding and simple updates, he adds.
It has also introduced smart matching search and one-click calling, to deliver more flexible communication and collaboration, he says.
"The app provides a consistent user interface across desktop and Web. Its inclusion of moderator controls allows a host to directly mute select participants without the pain of having to ask users to mute themselves."
Van Wyk says Lifesize offers customers a 'better together' value proposition, offering directory-based direct dialling, ad hoc and scheduled meetings and in-session call escalation, all in a single ecosystem from which end-to-end collaboration solutions can be standardised. It also caters for different meeting spaces and types.
The Lifesize app is locally available immediately through SkyGroup Communications.
