Smart plans for SMEs

SingTel has unveiled three 'Smart' packages to help small and medium enterprises (SMEs) save up to 75% on and technology costs, reports AsiaOne.

The packages come with monthly subscription fees and are designed to help companies tailor their information and communication technology (ICT) needs.

SingTel says the plans are “ideal for SMEs that wish to avoid upfront investments in ICT systems and equipments”.

New NAS for SME market

Server and storage manufacturer, Aberdeen, expanded the breadth of its array of AberNAS network attached storage (NAS) servers, according to PRWeb.

The Nehalem next generation dual-socket quad-core-based AberNAS line of storage servers, unveiled at this year's CeBIT event in Hannover, Germany, delivers 50TB of voluminous, expandable, enterprise-class NAS to the SOHO, SME and large enterprise markets alike.

Aberdeen's latest NAS units deliver a robust open storage platform with centralised management of networked storage and offers NAS servers from a 1U rackmount 1TB server up to a 50TB native capacity 8U scalable NAS appliance.
