SmartForce, Cisco expand relationship

Johannesburg, 07 Jun 2001

E-learning company SmartForce has concluded an agreement with Cisco Systems to develop and deliver training as an authorised Cisco Learning Partner.

SmartForce will deliver a comprehensive networking learning solution complete with a learning management system and a fully hosted platform.

SmartForce Africa MD, Milton Goldschmidt says that in order to meet the growing demand for Cisco and networking training, SmartForce will continue to expand its e-Learning offering to map Cisco expertise in routing technology, communications tools and internetworking. The solution will be marketed through SmartForce`s extensive force.

"Cisco Learning Partners are chosen based on the breadth of the provider`s solutions and the ability to meet specific customer training and business needs," he says.

"As an authorised Cisco Learning Partner, SmartForce will expand on its existing networking offerings by incorporating Cisco content into the SmartForce e-Learning infrastructure."

SmartForce`s e3 object-based application architecture makes it possible for SmartForce to integrate interactive seminars and workshops, advanced simulation, real-time 24x7 collaboration with subject matter experts, with a platform that enables object-level management and personalisation.
