SNP Schneider-Neureither & Partner AG (SNP AG), a software and consulting company specialising in business applications transformations, has founded one of its first distribution companies outside of Europe, in South Africa, with a view to expanding its international marketing activities.
The South African company, SNP Schneider-Neureither & Partner ZA (SNP ZA), is based in Fourways, Johannesburg. In his role as MD of this company, Geoff Earnshaw is responsible for developing the company's in-country presence and growth strategy.
“As an SNP subsidiary, we will actively seek opportunities to assist customers in evaluating and transforming their business applications landscapes in line with their current and future requirements,” says Earnshaw.
The company has also established a second subsidiary this year: SNP America is based in McLean, near Washington DC, USA.
Internationalisation aims
The foundation of the 100% subsidiaries represents an important step in SNP's planned strategy of growth and internationalisation for the worldwide sale of its own-developed standard software for Business Landscape Transformations (BLT), SNP Transformation Backbone (SNP T-Bone).
“We are pleased that we were able to complete the establishment of our subsidiaries in South Africa and the USA quickly and smoothly,” says Dr Andreas Schneider-Neureither, CEO of SNP AG. “We have Geoff on board, a highly skilled manager who has many years of experience in the international IT sector, knows his respective country intimately and has a wide network of contacts.
“This year, the introduction of SNP T-Bone to new markets is at the forefront of our activities. In addition to the development of existing relationships with our customers and partners, one of our main aims is to demonstrate the possibilities and high performance of our solutions to new customers,” concludes Schneider-Neureither.
SNP
SNP is a leading provider of software and software-related-services for the transformation of business applications required in the wake of corporate restructurings or technical progress.
SNP was founded in 1994 and currently employs approximately 200 employees at 10 locations in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, South Africa and the USA. SNP serves international and national clients and has the experience of more than 1 300 successfully completed projects, mainly for customers using SAP. The company is listed on the General Standard of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.
The software
With its Business Landscape Transformation software, SNP T-Bone, SNP is effectively able to provide customers with an automated, structured and holistic approach to complex business applications transformations, radically reducing the cost, complexity, time and risk associated with such corporate restructuring efforts.
“SNP T-Bone helps accelerate business and IT transformations,” notes Earnshaw, “and turns complex business change requirements into a manageable, project-driven and standardised set of processes.”
The Business Landscape Transformations include scenarios such as company splits, mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, reorganisations and harmonisation projects.
