Soarsoft initially started out in 2001 with a single e-mail archiving solution offered to the local South African market. Since then, and over the 14 years it has been in existence, the business has made great strides in diversifying and growing into a provider of multiple messaging, collaboration, migration and information management solutions in a number of markets across the globe.

For some time, Soarsoft operated predominantly within local South African, African and Middle Eastern markets, with a few projects that were rolled out as a specialist service provider for other ICT organisations in the US.

Within the last few years, more and more recognition from global technology partners, like BinaryTree, HP, Acaveo, Microsoft and many more specialist solution providers, has exposed and introduced Soarsoft to a number of global clients and projects. This, in turn, has allowed the business to further pursue and enter the UK and European markets more actively on its own.

"Soarsoft International has gained experience on a number of very large and complex international projects over the years, resulting in our teams acquiring extensive knowledge and world-class skill," says Chris Hathaway, Founder and Director of Soarsoft. "This experience has enabled us to enter new European and UK markets with huge confidence in our skills and the ability to compete very effectively on a global level, not only in terms of our rates, but in terms of specialist expertise and high levels of service as well."

Furthermore, with its headquarters in South Africa and new local offices in London, Soarsoft is in a similar time zone to many EU and UK clients. This is a key advantage when it comes to complex archive, information governance and migration projects. Additional resources can also be deployed on-site, with an overnight flight to almost all the major European centres.

"Entry into international markets and specifically the UK, Europe and extending our focus on the Middle East has been part of our business strategy for a long time," says Hathaway. "We are specialists and choose only best-of-breed, reliable and proven technologies to deploy and support, ensuring our skills are sought after in any part of the world."

Its proven track record of projects implemented with a number of global brands is testimony to the fact that its ability is certainly of a world-class standard and its strategy is definitely headed in the right direction. It is through this approach that Soarsoft International has built up a solid foundation from which to venture further across the globe.
