Sofrecom wins customer care, billing contract with Mauritius Telecom

Mauritius Telecom, one of the most dynamic telecommunication operators in the region, has chosen Sofrecom, the global provider for operational support systems, to supply the fully convergent Ga"ia solution to support its growing business. According to Michel Cestac, Managing Director of the Sofrecom branch in South Africa: "This new success reinforces the presence of Sofrecom in Southern Africa and in the Indian Ocean.

Sofrecom will install its convergent Ga"ia solution and will provide telecommunications consulting.

The Ga"ia solution will enable Mauritius Telecom and its subsidiaries to manage efficiently not only fixed-line, but also mobile and data services to reinforce its position of second largest telecommunication operator in Southern Africa.
