Softline Accpac boosts its growing channel by partnering with leading ERP solution provider SA Outsourcing

Johannesburg, 15 Jan 2009

Softline Accpac has partnered with SA Outsourcing (the South African operations of Enterprise Outsourcing), a leading technology and business solution provider, to further expand its best-in-class mid-market and enterprise offering, Sage ERP X3, as well as its award-winning Accpac CRM, in the African market. Keith Fenner, Vice-President: Strategic Sales, Softline Accpac, says SA Outsourcing has core technologies and competencies which will help Accpac drive growth and deliver these world-class solutions to the mid-market across Africa.

Fenner explains that Sage ERP X3 was launched on the African continent early last year and has already had considerable success, with over 145 sites spanning South Africa and French-speaking African countries. Sage ERP X3, by Softline Accpac, is a fully Web-based, full-service enterprise management software system aimed at catering for the demands of international business with an all-in-one solution that is easy to use and quick to deploy. Sage ERP X3 offers an efficient, multi-company solution that easily extends across national and international borders and offers first-class collaboration through its superior Web architecture.

Accpac CRM is an award-winning wireless and Internet-based system that uses industry-leading technology to foster better business practices and effortless information exchange throughout an enterprise. With Accpac CRM, businesses can quickly analyse, manage and synchronise sales, marketing and customer care activities across all points of contact.

“We are very excited at the prospects our partnership with SA Outsourcing holds. The company is a forerunner in providing quality ERP solutions and aligning these to overall business strategy. The pressures of a weakening market have caused many companies to rethink their priorities and focus on cost reduction. With best-in-class products like Sage ERP X3, by Softline Accpac, and Accpac CRM, SA Outsourcing will undoubtedly bolster competitive advantage for its clients, while enhancing operational effectiveness and, most importantly, reducing costs,” Fenner says.

Pedro Viudez, CEO of SA Outsourcing, says the alliance with Softline Accpac has laid the foundation for a lasting and mutually-beneficial relationship. “I believe that by teaming with us, Softline Accpac will gain a competitive advantage, especially as Sage ERP X3 is an outstanding offering for the mid- and low-enterprise market space. We will leverage our combined assets, knowledge and resources to take advantage of synergies and opportunities in delivering Accpac's first-rate solutions to our clients.”
