Softline Accpac is launching its first ever Sage Insights 2012 Conference, taking place from 9 to 11 February 2012, at the spectacular Champagne Sports Resort, in the Drakensberg.
Some of the highlights expected at Sage Insights 2012 include the launch of the standard edition of Sage ERP X3, Sage ERP Accpac V6.1, Sage CRM v7.1, as well as new versions of SalesLogix and Sage 1000.
This annual event brings together local and international Sage staff, solution providers and third-party developers, says Keith Fenner, Vice-President of Sales for Africa, Softline Accpac and Sage MMD Africa.
“It provides the perfect platform for players in the industry to network with the purpose of providing some insight into 2012 and what to expect in terms of trends and product developments in the ERP and CRM field,” says Fenner.
One of the focal discussions at the conference will be around cloud computing.
“The cloud offering across all our ERP and CRM products has increased as a result of the mobility and real-time data availability that the cloud offers. We will be announcing all our options in terms of Sage online, with dedicated sessions focusing on the cloud and our connected services inventory optimisation, in addition to social marketing,” explains Fenner.
Another big announcement that is scheduled for Sage Insights 2012 is the launch of Sage ERP X3 Standard Edition. “This unique product is targeted at the lower mid-market and is pre-configured to comply with South African legislation and processes. Sage ERP X3 Standard Edition is designed to break the mould of the conventional approach to global ERP by addressing key issues facing lower mid-sized businesses such as reducing costs and supplying not only pre-configured software, but a predefined methodology to ensure fixed implementation timeframes,” says Fenner.
As the premier event of the year, Sage Insights 2012 will prove to be highly informative. “It will provide a great deal of insight into the year ahead with opinion leaders expressing their take on trends in the industry and the announcement of a host of product enhancements that are designed to address these trends in the ERP and CRM market,” concludes Fenner.
