Softline Enterprise (a Sage company) recently hosted its annual partner conference, this year in the splendid scenery of the Spier Wine Estate, in Stellenbosch. South African partners were joined by delegates from other parts of Africa, Mauritius, Australia and New Zealand, as well as several international guests from Sage.
Ashley Ellington, Divisional Director at Softline Enterprise, says the conference again reinforced the company's strong product portfolio and the commitment of Sage to its global brands, including Sage ERP X3 and SalesLogix.
“Our business partners gained invaluable knowledge on the enhancements in the recently-released SalesLogix v7.5.1, the additional features of which prove that Sage is putting its money where its mouth is when it comes to developing around the customer. We have never doubted the product - it is an award-winning CRM solution - but this latest version really brings value back to end-users through interfaces designed to simplify how work gets done.”
Guest speakers shared their expertise on the following at the conference:
* Intro to Sage ERP X3: Jeremy Waterman, MD, Softline Accpac
* Sage 1000 v3 and Line 500 product strategy: Ally Wickham, Sage UK
* The business case for integration and SalesLogix - selling in a downturn: Justin Mahon, Sage Global CRM (Ireland)
* The SalesLogix vision and v7.5.1: Scott Durgan, Sage CRM Solutions (USA)
* Sage ERP X3 - Nyasha Mfokozanah, Softline Enterprise
Also attending from the UK were Alec Willis, MD of Defacto, and Louise Wolf, from Datalinx.
With product strategies and roadmaps expertly dealt with, it was time for the top honour of the conference - the announcement of the Softline Enterprise Business Partner of the Year 2008. The accolade went to Antinomy, which in 2007 shared the award with Jera Consulting.
The Antinomy team has in excess of 70 years' experience in ERP software application, implementation and consultation, and their expertise also extends to providing CRM, BI, and document management software solutions and support. Sales and Marketing Director Lee Ann Mounter says it is indeed an honour to be selected as the top achiever from a pool of 26 highly talented business partners, both locally and internationally.
“We're delighted to receive this prestigious award, which recognises our continued focus on delivering effective business solutions to our clients. Our thanks go to our clients who gave us the opportunity to serve them, and to our team of dedicated and professional people whose competence and commitment to service excellence earned this accolade. We were also privileged to have the support of the Softline Enterprise team, who underpinned our sales and technical teams every step of the way.”
Ellington concludes that Antinomy's success is attributed to its focus and specialist product knowledge. “With the world-class offerings we bring to the mid-market, notable growth and success is within grasp for each and every one of our business and development partners. Particularly exciting is the recent inclusion of Sage ERP X3, a full-service enterprise management software system for mid to large businesses aimed at meeting the most elaborate business processes, while remaining cost-effective, quick to implement and simple to use.”
