Software AG and ItemField, Inc have entered into a worldwide distribution agreement through which Software AG will resell ItemField's ContentMaster XML-based data transformation software suite.
The agreement between the two best-of-breed XML technology solution companies enables Software AG to distribute ContentMaster as a complement to its Tamino XML Server and EntireX product family, providing a comprehensive solution for the XML application integration marketplace.
The addition of ContentMaster is intended to extend the reach of Tamino XML Server and the EntireX product suite to include legacy, unstructured and proprietary data formats such as Word, PDF, EBCDIC and positional reports. This will significantly reduce the complexity of and effort involved in integration, yielding a rapid and high return on investment.
