Software AG looks to Cognos
Software AG has turned to Cognos to embed its analysis and business intelligence reporting into Software AG`s new WebMethods product line, reports InformationWeek.
The move is aimed at bringing real-time operational data out of the WebMethods` enterprise service bus, WebMethods business process management and other integration systems, and put it in the hands of business users.
Once the two product lines are integrated, business analysts and other users will be able to build dashboards, scorecards, and other quick-read reports that indicate how the business is doing.
Neoris targets financial sector
The Chilean unit of Miami-based IT consulting firm Neoris sees growth in the adoption of business process management (BPM) solutions over the next few years, reports Business News Americas.
To promote the implementations, Neoris is developing a complete offering of BPM solutions.
Even though the BPM concept was implemented some years ago, in Chile only one company within the financial sector is implementing the solutions across its entire organisation, according to the executive.
