Europe's largest provider of system software and services, Software AG, has joined forces with another Germany-based company to offer their respective users a comprehensive, one-stop solution meeting all internal and external business processes integration requirements.
Special B2B solutions from Seeburger AG, a leading European provider of industry-specific business integration solutions, will be distributed by Software AG, and Seeburger AG will in turn offer Software AG's EntireX Integration Server and Tamino XML Server. According to Software AG, the rationale for the partnership is rooted in 'deliverables'.
Announcing the agreement, vice-president of product marketing, Schalk Viljoen, said companies expect to see tangible results from the integration of their business processes and applications. They hope to see a drop in internal process costs, simplified end-to-end communication and cooperation with business partners, and support for new business models. This is where the partnership between Software AG and Seeburger AG comes in, he said.
Special EntireX connectors and the Tamino XML Server from Software AG round out Seeburger's product range with a platform for service-oriented integration across heterogeneous applications and operating systems. This enables a variety of applications to be integrated quickly and efficiently. The archived XML-based business documents are true to the original, and non-repudiation is guaranteed.
The expertise that Seeburger AG brings to the partnership will enable Software AG customers to continue to integrate systems with trading partners across enterprise boundaries in the future. Seeburger AG offers B2B solutions that guarantee both the integration of high-volume business partners and the connection of smaller partners via fax and e-mail. Industry-specific and regional standards are supported, including the global EDI standards and newly emerging standards for Internet-based data interchange such as RosettaNet or the CIDX Chem eStandard.
"With the tried-and-tested solutions from Seeburger AG and their interfaces with our products, we can offer our customers even greater efficiency for business processes," stated Viljoen. "Our solutions complement each other perfectly: while Seeburger AG technology optimally supports cross-system business processes that are based on industry-specific data interchange formats, Software AG's strengths lie in the proven efficient integration of existing systems, and in leveraging the capabilities of XML - for both the interchange and storage of information."
