Software Futures is to host an event with a difference this month when it introduces the latest features and functionality of the new version of Microsoft Business Solutions - Great Plains Version 7.5. The function will take place at the Software Futures offices at Milky Way in Linbro Business Park, Sandton from 3pm to 5pm on Thursday, 18 September. It will be followed by a whiskey and champagne-tasting evening.
Paul Brito, Software Futures solutions marketing manager, says: "Great Plains is constantly being enhanced, therefore protecting the investment clients have made in the solution.
"We constantly strive to keep our existing clients informed of the latest technologies and solutions available from Microsoft. We are using this event to highlight some of the new features and functionality available in Great Plains 7.5, which was released a month ago."
The new version features integrated customer relationship management (CRM) and collaborative information management solutions.

Great Plains 7.5 includes enhanced supply chain management and manufacturing features that include inventory, distribution and order management enhancements designed to meet demanding requirements.
The new version enables users to design data views using Crystal Reports 9.0 Professional and publish recurring reports. Improved project accounting reporting capabilities simplify the process of staying informed about budget revisions and revenue projections for projects. The expense management capabilities in Great Plains 7.5 allow employees to create offline expense reports from any location at any time.
