International personal and business software vendor, Software602, has appointed Gauteng-based Kustek IT as its sole distributor in southern Africa.
"Although Software602 has been available in SA in the past, sales and support has lacked the co-ordination we will be able to bring as sole distributor in the region, having proved our technical competency as a reseller," says David Kusner, CEO of Kustek.
Kusner says before becoming a reseller of the 602 LAN Suite e-mail and fax solution, his company had purchased the product because it offered good value to a small to medium business. "Most businesses use less than 10% of the features included in more expensive solutions," he says.
"The 602 LAN Suite does not require expensive hardware, is easy to install and manage with a built-in configuration wizard, as well as offering e-mail, anti-virus, anti-spam, fax, firewall, proxy server and content filtering within a single, integrated and stable application," says Kusner.
Although aimed at the small and medium enterprise (SME) market including small office and home office, Kusner says the 602 LAN Suite fits into larger businesses as well as the smallest of companies. He says the product provides all the functionality required by SMEs without the complexity and cost of big brand mail server products.
The 602 LAN Suite is available in a standard and an anti-virus version with pricing based on the number of users. The standard version for five users is available free of charge for commercial and non-commercial use.
