Suku Krishnaraj, senior VP of product strategy for SolarWinds, says once users have virtualised over 30% of their environments, managing storage infrastructure becomes critical to ensuring performance and capacity.

According to iTWire, SolarWinds Virtualisation Manager integrates with SolarWinds Storage Manager, allowing users to go beyond the data store stats, to the LUN, and ultimately the physical disk level stats, providing full VM-to-spindle visibility for simpler and quicker troubleshooting.

SolarWinds Storage Manager gives users unmatched visibility into shared storage that is not available through other vendor solutions, including most storage arrays and the servers, switches hosts and VMs they are connected to.
