Solit to crack French market with Mayor Group alliance

Local e-business and enterprise software developer Solit is continuing to grow its penetration of the European market with the signing of a strategic alliance agreement with French company D.Ways.

A division of Mayor Group, a consulting and systems integration specialist which has a well-developed strategic network across France, D.Ways specialises in collaborative Internet-based solutions. In terms of the agreement, the company will promote and deliver Tilos, Solit's suite of collaborative applications for e-business, to the French market.

"Solit's Web-based products will add value to our clients' existing systems across multiple sectors, specifically in the areas of strategic systems analysis and operation," says Philippe Rolin, MD of D.Ways. "We are confident that Tilos e-applications will be well received in France as Solit has already had major successes with the solution suite internationally."

Built on Microsoft technology, Tilos enables companies to consolidate, manage, process and analyse information across and outside of the enterprise, allowing for the development of completely Web-based business solutions.

The product suite, which was built to take cognisance of the complexity of disparate back-office systems, will be targeted at France's human resources, financial services, telecommunication and industrial markets, using Solit's many existing references in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the US.

"D.Ways has built a solid reputation across these markets, and has built a significant client base that includes French private and public companies in the intranet/extranet, information security and business intelligence spaces," says Rolin. We will continue to add value with Solit's high performing solutions, specifically because of the company's understanding of business processes."

Developed for corporate enterprises that have often invested millions in their installed systems, Tilos enables companies to add e-business functionality to their existing products and leverage their technology investments rather than having to replace the bulk of their software applications.
