
Solution Dynamics buys Bremy
Electronic document management company Solution Dynamics is buying digital marketing material storage and management company Bremy in a $796 383 deal, says Guide2.
Solution Dynamics said the deal was being paid for by the issue of 1.35 million of its shares at 43c each, and the transfer of $214 693 debt from Bremy.
The deal would reduce development costs Solution Dynamics expected to incur in an application for a large client.
Telefonica lands EUR12m contract
The Spanish government has awarded a EUR12 million (R126.5 million) contract to Telefonica to maintain the Presidential Web site, which is built on OpenCMS, an open source content management system, reports ITWire.
The site acts as a portal delivering information about the country and its government, news, media releases, cultural activities and more. It also caters to international visitors by providing content in several major languages. Visitors may subscribe to RSS feeds for updates.
In the past two months the Ministry of the Spanish Presidency has awarded two dozen contracts related to its involvement in coming European Union summits, totalling some EUR23 million. Of these the bulk - EUR11.9 million to be precise - has been awarded to Telefonica for “technical assistance and security” relating to the Web site.
WaTunes intros Streamline
Social music service WaTunes has a new content delivery technology called Streamline, according to Mi2n.
WaTunes has updated its content management system for artists and labels with Streamline to enable fluent deliveries into its digital services. This new development enables contents to be delivered into its digital services like iTunes in just two to four hours.
“We've been working vigorously to come up with a simple turnkey solution to enhance our services. We are very happy to be able to reveal our new Streamline technology to the world as we move to make our services fast, simple, and reliable,” says Kevin Rivers, CEO of WaTunes.
