Progress Software South Africa, the local distributor of Sonic Software`s range of products, has announced that its message-oriented middleware product, SonicMQ 4.0, has passed the compatibility test suite for Java 2 platform enterprise edition (J2EE) version 1.3 as integrated with Sun Microsystems` reference implementation.
Based on the Java message service (JMS) application program interface (API), SonicMQ provides global organisations with highly scalable, standards-based Internet middleware for secure delivery of critical data across an extended enterprise.
