Sony intros touch-screen desktops
Sony's Vaio division has introduced the Vaio L Touch Series, a line of all-in-one PCs with built-in 24-inch widescreen LCDs, states PC Mag.
The L Series is intended to give the user a true all-in-one experience, with a 1080p HD capable (1 920 by1 080 resolution) touch-screen monitor, and options for Blu-ray, an ATSC/HDTV tuner, and an HDMI port.
Besides its HD-friendly qualities, the L Series also leverages the touch technology built into Microsoft Windows 7.
Gateway convertible netbook/TV leaked
Plans for a new Gateway tablet notebook show a form factor that allows it to be used as a keyboard-less TV, reports Apcmag.
Engadget has posted up some leaked specs and images of a new convertible notebook called the EC18T that looks cool.
It will have an 11.6-inch screen and will use an Intel Core 2 Duo processor and will be able to be configured with up to 4GB of DDR3 RAM and will use Intel GS45 Express graphics.
Kohjinsha demos dual screen prototype
Kohjinsha is showing off a concept device with two 10.1-inch LCD screens that can sit side by side, according to Liliputing.
When only a single screen is needed, one folds behind the other and the device is about the size of a 10.1-inch netbook.
Each screen can handle either 1024 x 600 or 1366 x 768 resolutions and the computer is powered by an AMD Athlon Neo MV-40 chipset and DirectX 10 compatible ATI graphics.
